Our apps give users the ability to delete their account and associated data. This page explains what happens when you do — across both Priority4 and Priority4 Go — so you can make an informed decision before proceeding.
01What gets deleted
When you choose to delete your account, the following actions occur:
- Account removal: your account, including all personal information and settings, is permanently removed from our servers — across both Priority4 and Priority4 Go, since they share the same account system.
- Data deletion: all data tied to your account — usage history, preferences, push notification tokens, and any stored content — is erased and cannot be recovered.
- Third-party services: any data shared with third-party services integrated with the apps (push notification provider, mapping provider) will also be deleted where applicable, as governed by those third parties' terms.
This action is irreversible. Once your account and data are deleted, they cannot be restored.
Some data may be retained where required by Ontario Fire Marshal reporting rules, municipal record-retention obligations, or other legal requirements. Where retention applies, the data is decoupled from your personal identifiers wherever possible.
02What you should know before deleting
- If you are the only administrator on a department account, deleting your account may leave your department without admin access. Transfer admin rights to another firefighter first, or contact us before deleting.
- Deleting your account in one app deletes it in both — there is no way to delete only the Priority4 record and keep the Priority4 Go record (or vice versa).
- Operational records you authored (inspections, work orders, preplans, SIR submissions) may be retained on the department's records for compliance purposes, even though your personal account is removed.
03How to request deletion
You can delete your account from inside the apps under Settings → Account → Delete Account. If you'd prefer to handle it through our team, email notifications@priority4.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and we'll process it within 30 days.
04Acknowledgement
By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree to the permanent removal of your account and data as described above. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team before proceeding with account deletion.
